Midori no Hibi

Easily one of the funniest, cutest and yet heartwarming story I've ever come across. Makes me reminisce back to the days in high school with crushes & infatuations abound... ok come to think of it, mine wasn't very nice ;P Anyhow, the artwork is gorgeous, and the plot is really awesome. You'll grow to love both of the above characters quickly and though the ending is not-so-happy (for me, anyways), I enjoyed it. A good read, definitely!
